Croquis Nights going more digital
We have been testing devices such as the bamboo slate or the iskn slate. Both of these devices use normal paper to digitize the drawing immediately. It works rather well so we are now trying to develop a method where we can use these devices in our drawing classes, so that students can have their drawings digitized automatically, while drawing in paper, which is still the best way to do. With that, we can also project in the wall such drawings, randomly, to show students different techniques during such classes. While avoiding the usual shyness of peeking into the neighbor! :-) Digitization will also make our process of animation of such drawings much faster, without using camera or scanners.
