The World Music School Helsinki at WOMEX

The World Music School Helsinki was invited by WOMEX to present its method (or as we say it, our non-method) of “Teaching Music as a (MOTHER) Language” at WOMEX 16 in Galicia.

This was the 22nd edition of the most important meeting for international music professionals on world music, with 2400 professionals representing 1410 companies from 79 countries.

The presentation was a success and the meetings and encounters which followed it, were key to make our dream of enhancing music literacy worldwide, for the purpose of social and political cohesion.
