Downsizing of celebrities is the new green

The argument goes normally as:

The two key solutions are to reduce economic inequality so as to ensure fairer distribution of resources, and to dramatically reduce resource consumption by relying on less intensive renewable resources and reducing population growth.

I agree with the first… the latter is not required.

The increase of information and complexity created us human beings and it requires the constant increase of energy consumption. So we cannot escape this one.

But, if we struggle for social and financial equality, while this will increase energy consumption, it will also educate people. Such will re-channel the energy we so much misuse in celebrities (non-educated people), into more useful ones, science (educated people), which will further find solutions for survival!
