Pedro Aibéo's Portfolio (MUSIC)

In music,

 

Aibéo is a classically trained guitar player under the Professor Rui Rufino (Portugal) and trained in modern drums at the Seinäjoki Music School (Finland), with several music pieces registered at GEMA and music albums published on World Music and Folk.

He also plays professionally Bagpipes (galician, Uillean pipes, etc) for over 20 years, as well as been building the instruments under the german artisan Juergen Ross.

He has performed hundreds of concerts in venues such as the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall or the WGT Leipzig and founded several music groups across his career such as the, Oblivium, Arrefole, BlowJazz, etc. and played with many artists and bands such as Wolfenmond (under the pseudonym of Pedro o Lusitano), with Johanna Kurkela, Carlos Nunez, Allan Macdonald, etc.

He is  the founder and Chairman of the Non-Profit Organization "World Music School Helsinki”, which teaches music as a language.

He runs a monthly podcast on music from the Helsinki Open Waves.

He is currently a Musician at “Homebound”, a seven-piece fusion world music band, blending music from several cultures with the linking element of the drone.
